Shooting takes place on Monday evenings from 7:30pm at Tithe Farm Social Club (indoors during the winter and outdoors during the Summer) together with several Sunday afternoons. When the hall is not available on Mondays, the shooting night may be moved to Wednesdays. The current membership is approximately 40 archers, with new members joining each year after completion of the successful Beginners Course. Members several of whom now hold teaching and coaching certificates run this during May June & July. A 6 session course is run at the beggining of May. Pinner Bowmen have 4 qualified Coaches one of whom is a County Coach.
Involvement within the county has lead to four of our members holding positions on the County Committee and all their meetings are held at the Tithe Farm Club House. In addition to shooting activities, our members regularly support local fetes and festivals with a “Have a Go sessions”.
Pinner Bowmen have access to an indoor 20 yard hall at Tithe Farm, shooting outside on the pitch weather permitting with distances up to 60 metres.
On Sundays from May until October, 2pm-4pm, Pinner Bowmen also have access to an outdoor area at Queens School in Bushey, with shooting distances of up to 90 metres target archery and 180 yards clout round.
The club can accommodate both Recurve and Long Bow disciplines.
