Established in 1946, the Swift River Sportsman’s Club covers approximately 400 acres of land. Located near the Herman Covey Wildlife Management Area, our Club borders the Swift River, a prime fishing area with crystal-clear water flowing out of the Quabbin Reservoir.
The Swift River Sportsman’s Club is dedicated to the advancement and preservation of outdoor sports, including but not limited to Archery, Fishing, Field Trials, Hunting, and Target Shooting. We encourage responsible participation in all outdoor sports, and the initiation of Legislation which protects these activities. We support outdoor sports-related education and training, and conservation of game animals, fish, and birds. The woods and fields of our Club help provide a habitat for all wildlife.
